Day 5 being gluten-free

The fifth day was a little tricky for me. My hungry demons were temping me to want to binge again. The fifth day fell on Friday, which is “Junk Food Friday” to me. I usually would order something through the Uber Eats app from Veggie Grill and indulge in a few items to end my day. To make matter worse, I didn’t have anything made that was healthy in the refrigerator.

At first, I was going to make burro banana french fries, but I didn’t want to eat fried food. The point of this fitness challenge is to workout everyday for at least 7 minutes, and eat healthy food. So I snacked on 2 servings of olives and eat a handful of Brazil nuts and dates. The snacks helped a lot with keeping me from binging or eating junk food.

For dinner I made an alkaline “Cream of Mushroom” soup. This dish was inspired from “The Kitchen Girl” website. Her version was gluten-free, but not alkaline. I removed the garlic, dry sherry, almond milk, and nutmeg. I did a few “eclectic swap outs,” and made a very good soup in the end. The only problem is, I didn’t take exact notes on what I did. However, if you guys want to make this meal for a future youTube post, please leave a comment below.
