Day 20 and 21 being gluten-free

Days 20 and 21 fell over the weekend. Unfortunately my personal life had a few unexpected turn of events causing a major setback. Due to the sensitivity of the matters, I don’t feel comfortable sharing the details. The situations are connected to other people and I don’t want to embarrass these people in any type of way. However, the unforeseen distractions lead to me missing 2 workout days, no time to meditate, no time to read the Bible, very little time to pray, and I even missed church. I didn’t even have time to write in this blog. Talking about a chaotic 2 days.

If you are responsible for other people, it’s may be close to impossible to get through a challenge like this with no setbacks. I personally wanted to quit, because I wanted to workout 100 days in a row, and I missed 2 workouts. Then I woke up today (which was around 1:00 am in the morning,) I came to the realization that it’s not about being perfect, but about doing the best that I can. My family and friends are a priority to me and sometimes you have to make sacrifices to address emergencies. I have already reach my monthly weight goal ahead of schedule, I am feeling better everyday, and I am still Dr. Sebi and gluten-free. Instead of me beating myself up about what went wrong, I rather focus on the things that are going right. With that being said, I am moving forward with this challenge and do better moving forward.
